For heavy duty vehicles equipped with 9 pin OBDII port, the 9 pin OBD II T-harness is simple to install and can be used to place the GO device in a more optimal location and frees up the OBDII port.
Universal 9-pin (OBD II) Straight Extension harness:

For heavy duty vehicles equipped with 9 pin OBDII port, the 9 pin OBD II T-harness is easy to install and can be used to place the Geotab GO device in a more optimal position and frees up the OBDII port. After the device is plugged in, it may take a short drive (5 minutes, above 15km/h) for the GPS to register it’s location properly.
After this short drive, all of the status lights should stay on until you turn off the vehicle.
